Instrument panel

Instrument panel contains (from left to right): sample fast approach/retract buttons, stepper power supply on/off button (if this feature is enabled in program configuration), show statistics button, sound on/off button, volume control buttons, toggle to small window button (in the small window regime only instrument panel and oscilloscope is shown, window title is reduced, window is always on top of other windows), button that opens About window.

When a user mounts a sample for the first time, user can run fast sample approach to approach a probe to the sample quickly. Doing this is important to control distance between the probe and the sample visually or using optical microscope.

Sound on/off button let the user to output signal from oscilloscope to a sound device installed on the computer. When this function is enabled other programs cannot use sound device and cannot output sound. If other program already uses sound device, it makes impossible to switch sound button on.
